Jane Eccles is a respected Cape Cod artist who works "en plein aire" which means that she works directly from nature (in plain air). Her landscapes focus on color. Andre Van Der Wende wrote, "Jane Eccles walks a superb tight rope of incongruous colors, several octaves higher than most -- bottomless yellows and orangey ochres set against a deep lavender sky -- to somehow capture the strange turn to dusk." Jane's colors are bold and dynamic in both her landscapes and her unique still life arrangements.
